A gas bar attendant is in hospital with head injuries after he was found in the middle of a street following a robbery at a nearby Petro Canada near Highway 401 and Highway 27 early Wednesday morning.
Police say there were called out to a location near Dixon Road and Kelfield Street just before 6 a.m. where they found the victim lying in the street with serious trauma to his head.
It's not yet known how the victim was hurt - but his injuries do not appear to be a traffic-related, police say.
Investigators are still trying to figure out if the gas station robbery and the victim's injuries are related. The victim has not been able to speak to police.
