Toronto police have released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in connection with a number of break-ins and sexual assaults in Etobicoke.

The release comes just a day after investigators released surveillance video of the suspect.

The incidents first began last September when someone broke into three homes located in the Bloor Street West and Islington Avenue area during the early-morning hours of Sept. 7.

Two elderly women who were asleep at the time were sexually assaulted, police say.

On Sunday, police say a man broke into four homes in the Berry and Park Lawn roads area between 12:55 a.m. and 3:30 a.m.

Access was gained through unlocked doors and windows.

Police say a woman was sexually assaulted while she slept in one of the homes.

Police believe the same suspect is responsible for both sets of break-ins and assaults.

The suspect is described as 20 to 25 years old, five-foot-eight with a thin build and a tanned or darker complexion.

He was last seen wearing dark clothing with a white cloth or T-shirt covering his face.

Because of the face covering, only a partial sketch is available.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-7474 or Crime Stoppers at 416- 222-TIPS (8477).
