TORONTO - Brandon Isaac is back with the Toronto Argonauts.

The CFL club announced Wednesday that it had signed the veteran linebacker, who was part of Toronto's 2012 Grey Cup championship team.

Isaac, a six-foot-three, 208-pound native of Blackville, South Carolina, played 11 games with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 2013 and attended training camp with the Saskatchewan Roughriders last season. He joined the CFL in 2010 with the Calgary Stampeders.

In 60 career games over five CFL seasons, Isaac has recorded 127 defensive tackles, nine special teams tackles, 12 sacks and two interceptions and six fumble recoveries.

The Argonauts also announced the signing of running backs Akeem Daniels and Lyle McCombs, receiver Jarvis West and defensive lineman Martez Wilson. All are classified as international players.

International receivers Mike Davis, Mike Thomas, Anthony McClung and Darryl Surgent and defensive back David Sims were released by the Argos.
