LAS VEGAS -- Welterweight champion (Ruthless) Robbie Lawler made a basic purse of US$500,000 for his hard-earned split-decision win over challenger Carlos (The Natural Born Killer) Condit on Saturday at UFC 195.

The figures released Monday by the Nevada State Athletic Commission do not tell the whole financial story since the UFC does not detail all its fighter payments or bonuses. Lawler likely made a lot more than the published amount, with a cut of the lucrative pay-per-view take likely.

Condit collected $315,000, missing out on a $115,000 win bonus.

Both main event fighters also picked up a $50,000 performance of the night bonus.

It was money earned the hard way. According to FightMetric, Lawler absorbed 176 significant strikes over the five rounds while Condit was hit by 92.

The 33-year-old Lawler has been hit by 455 significant strikes over his last four bouts, according to FightMetric.

Heavyweight Stipe Miocic made a minimum of $170,000 for his first-round stoppage of former champion Andrei Arlovski in the co-main event in Las Vegas. That included a $60,000 win bonus and $50,000 for performance of the night.

Arlovski's basic purse was $250,000.

Alberta welterweight Sheldon Westcott made $20,000 for his lopsided undercard win over Edgar Garcia ($10,000).
