Toronto police are asking for the public’s help in identify a suspect in connection with a sexual assault at York University last week.

According to police, the 17-year-old victim was waiting for a bus near Ian MacDonald Boulevard and The Chimneystack Road when she was approached from behind and sexually assaulted at around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20.

The suspect fled the scene after the victim screamed, police say.

He is described as white, five-foot-seven to six feet tall, approximately 30 to 40 years old, with a thin build.

He was last seen wearing a dark, hooded sweater and dark pants.
