TORONTO - A rookie Toronto police officer charged with sexual assault has been granted bail.

Under the conditions of his release, 24-year-old Const. Brandon Fraser is required to live with his mother in Toronto under house arrest. He is prohibited from being in the company of anyone under 18, having an electronic device connected to the Internet or possessing weapons or alcohol.

Fraser has been in custody since being arrested last Monday, March 28.

In addition to sexual assault, Fraser has also been charged with sexual interference and sexual exploitation. He is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy and having an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old boy.

Fraser is currently suspended by the Toronto Police Service.
