Progressive Conservative Leader Tim Hudak insists there are no divisions in his party over an election promise to gut the government's green energy plans.

Conservative critic Frank Klees is a director at a company that's seeking a contract under the feed-in tariff program, which pays producers for their green energy.

Klees also holds stock options in Tribute Resources, which has applied for a FIT contract for the 240-megawatt Mar Wind Project on the Bruce Peninsula.

But Hudak has promised to end the FIT program if the Conservatives form the next government.

Hudak says he's not troubled that a member of his caucus stands to cash in on a program that the party wants to cancel.

Klees says he's firmly behind Hudak's promise to get rid of the FIT program, even though he sits on Tribute's board of directors.
