Toronto FC has traded forward Gregory Richardson to the Colorado Rapids in exchange for a second round draft pick, the team announced late Friday afternoon.
Richardson was on trial with the Toronto MLS club during the preseason and clocked playing time during all three preseason matches.
Richardson is a member of the Guyana national team and came to Toronto from Joe Public FC of the Trinidad and Tobago Pro League.
