Toronto police say a 25-year-old man who was fatally shot near Trinity Bellwoods Park on the weekend was from Nova Scotia.
The victim has been identified as Jefflin Beals, a resident of Dartmouth, N.S., police said Monday.
Beals died early Sunday morning after he was shot near Crawford Street and Lobb Avenue.
No one has been arrested.
