A video of Friday's mid-day shooting on the East Mall has been released as Toronto police search for two suspects.
The security footage shows two different views of the Friday afternoon attack in an apartment building on the East Mall, near Highway 427 and Rathburn Road.
Two gunmen approach the building separately and are seen firing between five and nine shots through a doorway at a victim who was just steps away.
One man was hit twice in the back of the leg while a second person was unscathed.
The two gunmen escaped in a four-door, mid-1990s, light-coloured Oldsmobile or Buick.
