The day may have started with some drizzle but by Saturday afternoon, all anyone could talk about was the sun's sizzle.

Outside the Black Bull on Queen Street West, a dozen or so people lined up for a spot on their popular patio. The warm weather was a welcome sight for the bar's owners who were forced to close for a full business day after a fire ravaged the second floor of the building Thursday night.

Temperatures in Toronto were expected to soar to 21C though a few clouds and some breezy winds were expected to make their way into the city by the evening. The warm weather will extend to Sunday, just in time for the annual Beaches Easter Parade, according to forecasters.

Environment Canada says Toronto will reach 15 C by Sunday afternoon though it will feel more like 9 C by the lake.

Though spring-like temperatures are here to stay for the remainder of the week, Environment Canada is warning Torontonians that they should prepare for some wet weather as well.
