WOODBRIDGE, N.J. -- No one was seriously hurt when a tanker truck carrying 6,000 gallons of scotch whisky overturned and caught fire in New Jersey.

Fire Chief Dan Gregan tells The Home News Tribune of East Brunswick the truck was making a turn when it clipped a telephone pole in Woodbridge, hit a parked car and ignited on Tuesday.

The chief wasn't sure whether the truck's fuel or the scotch ignited.

The driver, who works for a hauling company in Newark, was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
