Ontario Provincial Police have issued an arrest warrant for a 28-year-old Toronto man accused of stabbing two people in Orillia last week.

In a news release issued Friday, police say officers were called to Soldiers Memorial Hospital at around 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 22 after a male and female arrived with stab wounds.

The victims told police that while they had little memory of what happened, the incident occurred in the area of Couchiching Beach Park and their attacker was not known to them.

The victims were treated and released from hospital.

Investigators say information provided by a member of the public led police to issue an arrest warrant for a Toronto man.

Jordan Dennis, also known as TQ, is wanted on two counts of assault with a weapon.

Anyone with information about Dennis’ whereabouts is asked to contact police at (705) 326-3536.
