Police are investigating after fire broke out in the parking lot of a Land Rover dealership in Vaughan, engulfing four or five vehicles.

The blaze began at around 2:45 a.m. at the dealership on Steeles Avenue near Bathurst Street.

The estimated damage from the fire is not yet known.

Initial reports from the scene suggested that as many as seven vehicles were affected.

Police are working to determine whether or not the fire may have been deliberately started.
