Police have released surveillance camera footage of a TTC bus passenger who held his foot near the face of another man and then kicked him when he got up to leave.

According to police, the victim boarded an eastbound TTC bus in the Finch Avenue and Yonge Street area at around 11:50 a.m. on Sept. 27.

Once on board, police say the victim sat near the back of the bus and became involved in a dispute with the suspect, who had placed his foot on his seat.

At that point, police allege the suspect raised his foot and placed it near the man’s face in an apparent attempt to intimidate him.

The surveillance video shows the victim pushing the suspect’s foot aside and standing up and exchanging words with him before turning to walk away. The video then shows the suspect using the same foot to kick the victim in the back before getting up and exiting the bus.

The suspect is described as black, about 27 years old, six-feet-tall with short dark hair and scruffy facial hair. He was last seen wearing a collared shirt with a pizza logo on it, glasses and dark shoes.
