Toronto paramedics say a man in his 20s was seriously hurt when he was stabbed in the chest in the city’s West Don Lands area on Wednesday night.

Paramedics said they were called to an address Cooperage Street, east of Front and Cherry streets around 9 p.m. for a report of a stabbing.

They found a man in his 20s suffering from a stab wound to the chest and took him to a hospital trauma centre for treatment.

They encountered a second victim who did not need to be taken to hospital.

Police said the incident was related to domestic dispute. A woman was taken into custody at the scene.
