Occupants of a home on Bunting Drive in Vaughan suffered only minor injuries after a fire broke out overnight Sunday.
A duty inspector from York Regional Police said they received a call at 1:40 a.m. Sunday for a fire on the residential street, near Major Mackenzie Drive West and Weston Road.
Police arrived at the scene to find the home engulfed in flames, and evacuated nearby houses as a precaution.
No occupants of the home required admission to hospital. Roads in the area were closed temporarily to allow firefighters to douse the flames.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but police said it was not suspicious in nature.
