Some sections of Centennial College’s Progress Campus were briefly evacuated due to a security threat Wednesday morning.
Toronto police received a call about the matter at around 8:30 a.m.
Police responded to the campus at Markham Road and Progress Avenue to investigate the potential threat, along with the Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear team.
Police eventually determined that there was no real threat and students and staff were allowed back inside the building.
There were no injuries reported.
