The Ministry of Labour is investigating after a man was injured by debris from a recycling truck near the Annex Friday morning.
Police say a recycling bin was being picked up in the Bloor Street and Spadina Avenue area around 5:30 a.m. when a piece of debris fell from the bin onto a passerby.
The man suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
It’s not clear if the contents of the bin or a part of the truck itself fell on the man.
