Toronto police have released security camera photographs of two men wanted in connection with an altercation involving police that happened at Yonge-Dundas Square during Nuit Blanche.

At around 10 p.m. on Oct. 3, police responded to the public square for reports of a stabbing and a person with a gun.

While investigating the calls, several fights broke out, with the responding officers being surrounded by a large crowd.

Bottles were then thrown, striking one officer on the head and a second on the hand.

In a release issued Monday, police provided images of two men they are trying to identifying in connection with the incident.

No description of either man was provided by police.
