York Regional Police say they’re investigating an armed robbery that took place in an office building in Vaughan Friday morning.

Two men, one armed with a knife, the other with a handgun, burst into a business located on the fourth floor of a building at 3100 Steeles Avenue West, and demanded employees give them cash, police allege.

The employees gave the men an undisclosed amount of money and the pair fled the scene on foot. Nobody was injured during the encounter.

Police say one suspect was a black male, standing six-feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing a yellow construction hat, orange reflective vest, a black hoodie, grey track pants and a white surgical mask.

The second suspect is described as a black male, standing five-foot-eight, with a thin build. He was wearing a dark-coloured hoodie, black track pants, a purple ball cap and a black backpack.
