Police believe a man involved in a vicious stabbing at a Scarborough GO Transit station last night was caught on camera, prompting investigators to release a photo of a suspect to the media.

The incident happened late Wednesday afternoon when a man approached an 18-year-old male who was waiting for a train at the station located at Bellamy Road and Eglinton Avenue. The man allegedly demanded the teen hand over his gold chain but police say the younger male refused and a fight ensued.

During the course of the fight, police say the man was stabbed multiple times.

The victim then chased the suspect to a nearby footpath but returned to the station after realizing that he had been stabbed.

The suspect is believed to be about 25-years-old, six-feet-tall, 175 pounds with black hair and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a black varsity style jacket over a black hooded sweater with blue jeans a baseball cap.
