A photo opportunity with Premier Kathleen Wynne and some science students at a downtown high school backfired Tuesday after a suggestively shaped blob photobombed the moment.

Wynne and Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities Reza Moridi met with students at Jarvis Collegiate Institute in the Jarvis and Wellesley streets area early Tuesday.

Touring the classrooms, the premier took some time to meet with students who had prepared an experiment to demonstrate a catalyzed reaction of dish soap, food colouring and hydrogen peroxide.

After mixing the ingredients in a glass container, the reaction began foaming up the sides and spilling over the edge of the glass.

Foaming over the sides of the glass container, the pink blob eventually slowed and settled into a shape closely resembling a part of the male anatomy as Wynne stood chatting with the students.

Possibly unaware of the awkward formation, the premier and Moredi smiled for the cameras along with the beaming students as they stood behind the unexpected shape.

The photo was quickly shared online by those in attendance and drew a chorus of amused reaction.
