Police are searching for a suspect they say followed a woman home from a restaurant in Weston and sexually assaulted her.
Police say at around 2 a.m. on May 13, a woman was in a restaurant in the area of Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue West.
When the woman left the establishment, police say a man, who was also inside the restaurant, followed her to her apartment nearby.
As she went to enter her unit, police say the man forced his way inside the apartment and sexually assaulted her.
He fled the area and was last seen walking on Weston Road.
Police describe the man as in his 30s with long dreadlocks. He was reportedly wearing a red shirt with black sleeves. The front of the shirt had the number ’72’ on it.
