Toronto Police are looking for a man who assaulted a 16-year-old boy with a skateboard earlier in the month while sporting a plastic Spiderman mask south of Kensington Market.

Police said the boy suffered major injuries in the unprovoked attack, which occurred May 2 just before midnight, near the intersection of Dundas Street West and Augusta Avenue.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, standing about five feet, ten inches tall, with a medium build, short black hair, brown eyes and an unshaven face.

He was last seen carrying a skateboard and wearing a plastic Spiderman mask on the top of his head, a long-sleeve shirt, black jeans, and a black backpack.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police at 416-808-1400.
