A 22-year-old Toronto man who allegedly forced a 16-year-old girl to work as a prostitute at an Ajax hotel is facing eight charges.
Durham police launched an investigation late last week after discovering advertisements for sexual services with what appeared to be an underage girl.
Investigators were able to track the girl to an Ajax motel, where police said she was discovered with a 22-year-old man.
The girl had been moved between various locations in southern Ontario, police said.
Andre Lewis faces charges including trafficking in persons under 18, production, possession and distribution of child pornography, and material benefit from sexual services from a person under 18.
