No injuries were reported after a two-alarm fire broke out an Etobicoke steakhouse Sunday evening.

The fire started on a stove fire at the Black Angus Steakhouse at Bloor Street West and Gardenvale Road at around 6:45 p.m., Cptn. Mike Westwood of Toronto Fire Services told CP24. However it spread to the restaurant’s roof.

Westwood said 12 fire trucks and 45 firefighters responded to the call, knocking down the fire about an hour later.

It’s not yet clear how the fire started.

Eastbound traffic on Bloor Street West is being diverted at Gardenvale Road and TTC service is also being diverted, police said.

There was no immediate estimate on the damage to the restaurant.
