Police are investigating after a pair of unrelated stabbings at opposite ends of the city sent two men to hospital.
The first stabbing occurred near the intersection of Markham and Ellesmere roads shortly before midnight. A male victim was stabbed in the abdomen and taken to a trauma centre with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say they are searching for one suspect.
The second stabbing occurred outside an address on Beverly Hills Drive near Jane Street and Wilson Avenue at around 4:30 a.m.
According to EMS, a-22-yearold man was stabbed in the thigh and transported to hospital with serious injuries. A second victim also suffered minor injuries, however it is unclear whether they were stabbed.
Police say they have one person in custody.
