Up to 14,000 hydro customers in Scarborough were briefly without power Tuesday afternoon and authorities are trying to determine if it was caused by a vault fire in the area.
Some people reported on social media that the power was out for mere minutes. Toronto Hydro and Hydro One both confirmed power had been fully restored.
There were reports of people hearing small explosions in the hydro yard before a hydro vault caught fire at Orton Park and Ellesmere.
