Toronto police have released images of a suspect wanted in connection with the recent sexual assaults of two young women while riding the subway.

Police say the first incident occurred on Jan. 28 at around 10:40 a.m. when a 21-year-old woman was assaulted while on the Bloor line.

The suspect then exited the train at Ossington Station and boarded the next train travelling in the opposite direction.

On Feb. 4, at around 2 p.m., police say a 22-year-old woman was assaulted, also while travelling on the Bloor line.

The suspect exited the train at Spadina Station after assaulting the victim, police say.

Police believe the same suspect is responsible for both sexual assaults.

He is described as brown, 24 to 40 years old, five-foot-six to five-foot-eight, with a medium build and facial hair, including a moustache.

At the time of the assault on Jan. 28, he was wearing a blue Michigan Wolverines jacket with a hood and black dress pants.
