Environment Canada's long-term forecast is calling for showers Friday afternoon with a risk of a thunderstorm and a high of 21 C.
More showers are expected tonight as the thunderstorm threat hangs around overnight.
For Saturday, Environment Canada is predicting a few showers early in the morning and a high of 17 C.
By then, Toronto residents will be ready for a break, but they may not get one.
Sunday will bring more rain, followed by periods of rain Monday and a good chance of showers Tuesday through Thursday, Environment Canada said.
Highs of 10 C to 17 C are expected.
Normals for this time of year are highs of 19 C and lows of 9 C.
