SUNDERLAND, Ont. - An autopsy is underway for a woman and child found dead in the trunk of a vehicle near the community of Sunderland, northeast of Toronto.
Durham Region Police say the results may shed some light on what killed the pair, whose bodies were discovered Saturday morning.
Police say they're trying to retrace the woman's steps leading up to her death.
The bodies have not been identified and police say they aren't seeking any suspects at this time.
