ZURICH, Switzerland - Cristiano Ronaldo has won the FIFA World Player of the Year award.
The Portugal and Manchester United winger completes a sweep of soccer's top individual honours for 2008.
He also won the Ballon D'Or as European player of the year and World Soccer magazine's player of the year award.
The result was announced Monday at a ceremony in Zurich.
Brazil's Marta won the women's award.
