A man found with frostbite in a ditch in Schomberg has died in hospital on Friday morning.
York Regional Police say they received a call at 7:20 a.m. about a man found lying in a ditch on Highway 9, near Highway 400.
The man was rushed to hospital with severe frostbite, where he later died.
Police say the man was not dressed for the freezing weather, and they are not sure how long he had been out in the cold.
Officers are trying to find out where the man came from.
