A 27-year-old teacher who works in Mississauga is facing a number of sex-related charges in connection with an investigation involving a student.
According to Peel police, the suspect works at St. James Catholic Global Learning Centre, located at 98 Wanita Rd.
Additional details were not immediately provided.
“Investigators are concerned that there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward, and ask any potential victims or witnesses to contact police,” police said in a release late Wednesday night.
The suspect appeared in court in Brampton on Tuesday.
Amanda Perreault faces charges including sexual assault, sexual interference, and making sexually explicit material available to a child.
