Fire officials say a two-alarm blaze caused an estimated $200,000 in damage to an Etobicoke home on Sunday afternoon.

The fire broke out shortly after 1 p.m. at 29 Herne Hill in Etobicoke and at the height of the fire, approximately 15 trucks and 60 firefighters were on scene.

Crews were able to quickly knock down the fire and no one was injured.

Toronto Fire Capt. Mike Strapko told CTV News that the occupants were out taking family photos when the fire broke out. The family had working smoke detectors and were notified of the fire by their alarm company, he said.

The fire, which is believed that the fire started in a bedroom above the garage, caused significant damage, gutting the second floor of the home, Strapko said.
