Police are searching for a single suspect after a man was shot multiple times in the city’s east end Saturday night.

According to police, the victim had left a home on Boultbee Avenue near Jones Avenue after retrieving some personal property at around 10 p.m. and was travelling along a nearby pathway when he was confronted by the suspect.

The suspect then produced a handgun and fired several shots, striking him in the hand and legs, police say.

The victim was located at the hospital a short time later.

His current condition is not known.

The suspect is described as a five-foot-five male. He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, grey track pants and white running shoes.
