For five days only, you can trade your unwanted holiday items or gifts for sweet, sweet candy.

A Skittles pawn shop has popped up at 242 Queen Street West in Toronto, across the street from the CP24 newsroom.

Torontonians can head to the pawn shop, which will be open from Boxing Day until Dec. 30, to get their items appraised or they can find out what their gift is worth in Skittles by getting it assessed online at the Skittles pawn shop website.

According to the site’s Frequently Asked Questions page, the shop will not accept drugs, weapons, other illegal things, or garbage.

You must be 13 or older to participate and those younger than 13 need their parents to accompany them to the store.

All items received by the Skittles pawn shop will be donated to the Goodwill ReUse Centre in Scarborough.

The store will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
