Police have released surveillance camera images of a suspect who allegedly robbed four Yonge Street banks over a 10-day period.

The robberies took places at branches on Yonge Street between Davisville Avenue and Lawrence Avenue from Nov. 21 to Dec. 1.

Police say that in each robbery, the suspect passed a teller a note demanding specific denominations of cash and indicating that he was armed with a gun. The suspect then fled the banks after receiving an unspecified quantity of cash.

According to police, three of the four robberies took place at 12:30 p.m. Police also say that suspect fled into the subway system after one of the robberies.

The suspect is described as being five-foot-ten to six-feet tall and in his early 20s.
