Toronto police have arrested and charged a man with a dozen offences after a knife assault, a robbery and a carjacking occurred in Toronto’s west end and North York on Aug. 14 and 15.

Police allege a man armed with a knife attacked a woman in the area of Davenport Road and Dufferin Street at 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 14.

They allege the same man broke into a home in the area of Black Creek and Trethewey drives in the early hours of the morning on Aug. 15, and demanded car keys from its occupants.

The accused then stole a car, police allege. He was known to be driving a grey 2006 Infiniti G35.

On Monday, 32-year-old Curtis Ricketts of Toronto was arrested and charged with offences including assault with a weapon, forcible confinement, robbery, carrying a concealed weapon, and robbery with an offensive weapon.

He appeared in court at 1000 Finch Ave. W. on Monday.
