York Regional Police have released surveillance footage of two vehicles that were spotted in the area of a fatal-hit-and-run in Vaughan with the hope that someone from one of the vehicles might have witnessed the deadly incident.

Adam Colucci, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene after being found with severe injuries outside a motel where he had been staying in the Highway 7 and Keele Street area on Aug. 8.

Police have said they believe the Woodbridge resident was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene at around 11:25 p.m.

Police are now hoping that one of the two drivers in the video may have witnessed the incident.

The first vehicle in the video appears to be a white pickup truck, while the second is a white cargo van.

Investigators are asking the drivers of the vehicles or any other possible witnesses to get in touch with police at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7704, or to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS.

Police are also appealing for the driver of the vehicle that struck Colucci to get a lawyer and turn himself in.
