Toronto police say a travel agent in the city’s Weston neighbourhood faces fraud charges after she allegedly used clients’ credit cards to buy trips for other unknown people.

Investigators say that the owner of Blue Mountain Travel, located near Jane Street and Lawrence Avenue West, allegedly sold travel services that “were only partially provided, if at all.”

The owner also allegedly used clients’ credit cards to buy travel services “for people unknown to the credit card holder.”

The accused was an employee of Blue Mountain Travel before she became the owner, police said.

On Friday, 50-year-old Carolyn Michelle Solomon was arrested and charged with two counts of fraud over $5,000.

She is known to have used aliases including Michelle Durant, Carolyn Durant and Michelle Solomon.

Police believe there may be other victims who have not yet come forward.
