KELOWNA, B.C. - A WestJet flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Kelowna, B.C. Saturday because of an unruly passenger.

The flight was heading to Vancouver from Toronto.

Kelowna International Airport spokeswoman Jenelle Hynes says the passenger refused to sit in his seat and wouldn't stop shouting when he thought his money had been stolen.

She says Mounties took the man off the plane and interviewed him.

She says the man's luggage was searched and he's since been allowed to book another flight out of town.

There's no word yet if the man will face charges.
