Cyclist struck by school bus

A male cyclist has been transported to hospital in serious condition after his leg was run over by a school bus in North York Tuesday evening.

The incident happened in the Bathurst Street and Finch Avenue area shortly after 5 p.m.

There is no word on any road closures.

Police suspect impaired driving in crash

Impaired driving is suspected in a collision that sent two people to hospital early Tuesday morning.

Toronto police said two men suffered non-life-threatening injuries when two vehicles collided near Gihon Spring Drive and Martin Grove Road at about 3:15 a.m.

One person was arrested for impaired driving. Charges haven't been laid.

One car ended up in a backyard near the intersection.
