Peel police are describing a two-alarm house fire that broke out in Brampton on Tuesday morning as suspicious.

Peel Regional Police said emergency personnel were called to a home on Elizabeth Street South, near Queen Street West and Main Street, at about 6 a.m.

When fire crews arrived, the front of the home was engulfed in flames.

No one was injured, fire officials told CP24.

A damage estimate wasn't available.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
