ZURICH, Switzerland - Argentina has climbed to second place behind World Cup champion Spain in the monthly FIFA rankings, while Canada tumbled 15 spots to an all-time low of No. 106.

The Canadian men's team closed out its first camp under new head coach Benito Floro this week by dropping a 1-0 decision to Mauritania.

Canada has yet to record a victory in 10 games this season.

The United States moved up six places to No. 13 after joining Argentina this week in qualifying for the World Cup. The Argentines rose two places from fourth, knocking Germany down to No. 3.

Italy also qualified for the World Cup and jumped two spots to No. 4, while Colombia dropped two to fifth. Belgium, Uruguay, Brazil, Netherlands and Croatia round out the top 10.

Canada's previous low was No. 105 in July 2011. Canada reached a high of No. 40 in December 1996.
