TORONTO - Nolan Reimold's RBI double in the 10th inning rallied the Toronto Blue Jays to a 3-2 win over the Detroit Tigers on Saturday afternoon.

Toronto tied the game in the ninth on Dioner Navarro's run-scoring single off Tigers closer Joe Nathan.

Danny Valencia led off the 10th with an infield single against right-handed reliever Joba Chamberlain (1-5). Reimold then brought him home with a double to left centre.

Left-handed reliever Aaron Loup (4-3) pitched one inning for the win.

Toronto (62-56) and Detroit (63-51) have split the first two games of the series with the rubber match Sunday. The Tigers won the opener 5-4 on Friday night.

Detroit starter Max Scherzer had 11 strikeouts over eight innings. Toronto rookie right-hander Marcus Stroman allowed four hits, three walks and two runs while fanning four over nine innings, the longest outing of his career.
