Get ready for another weekend of disruptions on the TTC's Yonge subway line.

The line is closing between Bloor and Union stations Saturday and Sunday so crews can install a new double crossover section of track at College Station.

During the closure, all southbound trains on the University-Spadina line will turn around at Union Station, while southbound trains on the Yonge line will turn back at Bloor-Yonge station.

The TTC says a frequent, accessible bus service will operate between Bloor and Union stations while the Yonge line is closed.

Buses are scheduled stop at Bloor, Wellesley, College/Carlton, Dundas, Queen, King, Front and Bay streets.

As an alternative, TTC riders can walk or take a streetcar to University Avenue, travel north on the subway to St. George Station and then transfer to the Bloor-Danforth subway line and head east to Yonge Station, where they can transfer back to the Yonge line for northbound subway service.

Regular subway service will resume Monday morning, the TTC says.
