Halton Regional Police are investigating after a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by her boss at a concrete business in Oakville last Friday.

Police said the victim arrived at her workplace, Euro Impress Concrete in Oakville on Friday at about noon. A short time later, the owner of the company showed up.

The owner allegedly hugged the victim and touched her inappropriately. The woman reported the incident to police.

On Tuesday, police charged 47-year-old Gabriel Da Silva, of Hamilton, with one count of sexual assault. He will appear in court for a bail hearing on Wednesday.
