A 23-year-old man has died after his car struck a guardrail and crashed into a ditch on the northbound Don Valley Parkway.
Toronto Paramedic Services said the collision happened around 4 a.m. south of Millwood Road and that the victim had to be extricated from his vehicle.
The driver was pronounced dead in hospital, Toronto police said.
The northbound DVP was closed from Bayview-Bloor to Don Mills Road till about 9:30 a.m. while police investigated the cause of the crash.
